“Before coaching, a feeling of emptiness and a lack of clear direction, focus or purpose, combined with fear and anxiety about the future, was impacting and affecting every aspect of my life.

I felt a constant inner turmoil I could not name. Thoughts such as, ‘There’s more to life than this. I wonder what God’s purpose is for me? Why aren’t things I think should be satisfying not more satisfying?’ plagued my mind.

There was a combination of factors that had me finally say, “Enough is enough” and decide to work with Jen. I realized I had to make a choice to take the chance, if I truly wanted things to change. So, I stepped out in faith.

Through coaching what I realized was that freedom and joy were just on the other side of stepping out of my comfort zone. Coaching with Jen was one of the best decisions I have ever made!”

For many years I felt like I was just existing. Stress from my job was negatively impacting every area of my life, most significantly my family and my health.  I wasn’t able to be present to my husband or children and felt exhausted all of the time. I also lived with a great deal of fear. What finally motivated me to say, “Enough is enough” was the realization that I’d been living like this for ten years and nothing was improving, it was getting worse.

I was referred to Jen by someone I trust and my husband encouraged me to press through my fears and doubts and try coaching.

Through coaching I was able to recognize how the pattern of fear was interconnected to and affecting every area of my life as well as how procrastination and perfectionism were keeping me paralyzed from making decisions which would help me move forward – at home and at work. With compassion, courage, insight and patience, Jen encouraged and spoke truth into me. She adapted her approach and provided specifically tailored tools in order to help me address these barriers. I felt valued due Jen’s deep interest in and commitment to me. God clearly worked and spoke through the coaching sessions.

As a result of coaching I have new awareness about myself and patterns that have kept me stuck so I can do something about them. I am able to notice and acknowledge progress when I make it and confront the “not good enough” lies. I am better equipped to recognize and set clear boundaries with my family and my job. I am now able to identify and communicate my needs and take care of myself. It took several months before I felt ready, but I was finally able to think about and set some meaningful goals and begin to make progress as action steps were implemented. I am more willing to make decisions instead of being paralyzed by fear. I gained more confidence and energy through sharing and feeling heard. I feel I can tackle things rather than allowing what was once overwhelming continue to drown me. I am recognizing how healing is starting to take place in my life.

Jen is a very gifted Life Coach. She has been amazing over this past year and helped me to move forward in more ways than I could have imagined.

I originally sought out coaching to help me gain control over a situation I felt helpless to change on my own - my health and weight.  I had allowed my health to decline during a period of extreme stress, and was tired of living in fear and with an un-healthy mindset.  I knew I needed help, but with the busyness of daily living it took me a while to take action.  I also struggled with worry and anxiety, which incapacitated me from doing things I enjoyed and from living out the gifts God has given me.

When I retired from a stressful job, I knew ‘enough was enough’. It was time to take action and that’s when I reached out to Jen. I wanted clarity to help me re-group and make good use of my time and I also wanted assistance with weight loss and my health.

I enjoyed the weekly sessions, which felt like I was meeting with a good friend. “Good” as in one who wasn't afraid to tell me the truth in love. “Friend” as I felt like Jen was for me from the beginning. I felt validated, yet challenged. I gained a new understanding into how I functioned as a person, and was encouraged to apply that information to grow.

As a result of coaching, I am making choices in my thinking, which results in actions in to LIVE my life, not just exist. I am expanding my comfort zone. Instead of allowing the fear of “what if?” and anxiety control me, I am going forward even when I feel hesitant. I have committed to getting healthy and have successfully stuck to my health goals (which Jen helped me develop). I am making healthy choices with food, exercise, and self-talk. I have taken control of my health. Not only have I consistently lost weight over the past 6 months, I've dropped a size in clothes and feel my movement increase!

I think coaching gives you the tools to live your life instead of settling for mere existence. It helps to reveal roadblocks and provides the tools to overcome those hindrances. It has a positive effect on your outlook on life and gives you power to choose behaviors which lead to a greater fulfillment. Life coaching is an investment in yourself that I absolutely recommend!

The primary challenge I wanted to address through coaching was my overwhelming fear. Fear of failure, fear of not being respected or considered intelligent, and fear of undesirable outcomes - regardless of the situation. These fears held me back from realizing  the possibilities of my potential and experiencing life to the fullest.

A desire to finally overcome these irrational fears and live with confidence is what motivated me to say ‘enough is enough.” The most valuable aspect of coaching for me was understanding how my past has shaped my present and the underlying motivation or beliefs driving my behavior. I am more aware in the moment now and the tools provided help me implement change.

Jen’s feedback was spot on and helped me to better understand myself. No matter what I was experiencing in my life, Jen had insight which helped me understand and address the situation. She provided resources and tools that allowed me to work through the roadblocks that were holding me back.

As a result of coaching, I realized that the problems I have struggled with were often how I internalized what I experienced. I also learned to be aware of and manage my expectations, which has helped me feel empowered instead of angry.

Christian Life Coaching equipped me to live life differently, raised my awareness, provided a new lens of perspective with which to view life through and shifted the trajectory of my life. Coaching was truly a transformative process and saved me years of time and expense! The results have been amazing!

Group Coaching gave me the resources and information needed to change areas of my life that were not working. It was great being with a group of women open to sharing their experiences and questions in a supportive environment.

One thing that really helped a lot was gaining clarity on what is valuable and important to me. Why do I work part time and not full time? Why do I take my daughter to activities? I think that as women, we tend to make light of all the things we do and not give ourselves credit that is deserved!

Before attending the Group Coaching class, I was jaded and suffering from leadership burnout. I felt paralyzed and confused by a lack of clear direction regarding my career. Through the class, I gained the needed clarity as well as renewed confidence and energy. 

One of the aspects of the Intentional Living Group Coaching class which helped me the most was becoming more aware of my total dependence on God. I now have a more intimate relationship with Him than ever before.

Group coaching provided a dedicated time for learning and introspection. The resources she provides during the sessions are so useful and help bring to life what is being covered.

Group coaching is a safe space to share with others, if desired, or to just take it all in. It is an invaluable masterclass that will allow growth and development in a Spirit-driven fashion.

Group coaching motivated me to search myself. I now take seriously the desire I have to go after my goals and have the tools and resources to help me stay focused.

Through Coaching I was provided with feedback, tools, insight and accountability. I began to dream again as I let go of limiting beliefs. The questions asked helped me experience subtle but important shifts in my mindset, change in my perspective, and greater awareness of my values and how to prioritize my time. I felt safe to explore and grow. I would not be where I am today without the support of working with a Christian Life Coach!  

My life was greatly enriched by the Intentional Living Group Coaching class! I learned a lot and have tools to implement in my life.

Words cannot express how much I appreciated the Intentional Living Group Coaching class. Some sessions were hard and brought tears but I gained so much. I am so thankful!

What I found most valuable about the Intentional Living Group Coaching class was writing out my values and priorities. It proved to be very insightful. My favorite aspect was hearing other women share. I think that this is especially great information for younger women. 

The reason WHY I chose Bridget as a coach was her preliminary session.  This gave me a chance to talk with her in a relaxed way and understand HOW she would "coach" me, listening to my concerns and lining the answers up with God's Word.  This is exactly what I was looking for!

At the start of each session, we talked about the topic for that time and at the end she asked me if I had any new insights on how to think on that topic.  Every time, I was elevated in my thinking!  God's truth does that. I especially like that she would send me a summary of the session the next day or so.  This way,

I could review it and apply.

I then was able to develop fresh thoughts on my attitude and point of view regarding my stumbling blocks, especially with my adult children and my husband.  Bridget showed me how to be realistic about change.  How the only one I can change is myself, and how being fearful of others or an imagined outcome put me in fear.  We also developed a plan for "getting out of the pits of life" with a practical practice.  I'll leave that answer for you to discover with her!
