Before coaching, a feeling of emptiness and a lack of clear direction, focus or purpose, combined with fear and anxiety about the future, was impacting and affecting every aspect of my life.
I felt a constant inner turmoil I could not name.
Thoughts such as, ‘There’s more to life than this. I wonder what God’s purpose is for me? Why aren’t things I think should be satisfying not more satisfying?’ plagued my mind.
There was a combination of factors that had me finally say, “Enough is enough” and decide to work with Jen.
I realized I had to make a choice to take the chance, if I truly wanted things to change. So, I stepped out in faith.
Through coaching what I realized was that freedom and joy were just on the other side of stepping out of my comfort zone. Coaching with Jen was one of the best decisions I have ever made!”

I loved coaching and feel like I am making much healthier choices both physically and mentally, which enables me to initiate living instead of being tossed around by any event which presents itself. I’ve also learned to take control of things I can, and to understand the things I can’t. I gleaned something valuable from each and every session.
Having my mind opened to new ways of processing information has resulted in a positive, result producing focus. This positive, result oriented thinking has enabled me to take control of behaviors in my life that had previously left me stagnant and ineffective. This was invaluable during coaching, as having dedicated time to understand me, she knew how to guide and challenge me. She was compassionate, sensitive and perceptive, which earned a trust that grew with each session.
I also appreciated the fact that her walk with God is legitimate, she wasn't just giving me worldly council, and throwing in a Bible verse here and there.

Before coaching the pattern of fear was interconnected to and affecting every area of my life. As a result of coaching I have new awareness about myself and patterns that have kept me stuck so I can do something about them. I am able to notice and acknowledge progress when I make it and confront the “not good enough” lies.
I am better equipped to recognize and set clear boundaries with my family and my job. I am now able to identify and communicate my needs and take care of myself. It took several months before I felt ready, but I was finally able to think about and set some meaningful goals and begin to make progress as action steps were implemented.
I am more willing to make decisions instead of being paralyzed by fear. I gained more confidence and energy through sharing and feeling heard. I feel I can tackle things rather than allowing what was once overwhelming continue to drown me. I am recognizing how healing is starting to take place in my life.
Jen is a very gifted Life Coach. She has been amazing over this past year and helped me to move forward in more ways than I could have imagined.
