“Before coaching, a feeling of emptiness and a lack of clear direction, focus or purpose, combined with fear and anxiety about the future, was impacting and affecting every aspect of my life.

I felt a constant inner turmoil I could not name. Thoughts such as, ‘There’s more to life than this. I wonder what God’s purpose is for me? Why aren’t things I think should be satisfying not more satisfying?’ plagued my mind.

There was a combination of factors that had me finally say, “Enough is enough” and decide to work with Jen. I realized I had to make a choice to take the chance, if I truly wanted things to change. So, I stepped out in faith.

Through coaching what I realized was that freedom and joy were just on the other side of stepping out of my comfort zone. Coaching with Jen was one of the best decisions I have ever made!”

"For many years I felt like I was just existing. Stress from my job was negatively impacting every area of my life, most significantly my family and my health.  I wasn’t able to be present to my husband or children and felt exhausted all of the time. I also lived with a great deal of fear. What finally motivated me to say, “Enough is enough” was the realization that I’d been living like this for ten years and nothing was improving, it was getting worse.

I was referred to Jen by someone I trust and my husband encouraged me to press through my fears and doubts and try coaching.

Through coaching I was able to recognize how the pattern of fear was interconnected to and affecting every area of my life as well as how procrastination and perfectionism were keeping me paralyzed from making decisions which would help me move forward – at home and at work. With compassion, courage, insight and patience, Jen encouraged and spoke truth into me. She adapted her approach and provided specifically tailored tools in order to help me address these barriers. I felt valued due Jen’s deep interest in and commitment to me. God clearly worked and spoke through the coaching sessions.

As a result of coaching I have new awareness about myself and patterns that have kept me stuck so I can do something about them. I am able to notice and acknowledge progress when I make it and confront the “not good enough” lies. I am better equipped to recognize and set clear boundaries with my family and my job. I am now able to identify and communicate my needs and take care of myself.

It took several months before I felt ready, but I was finally able to think about and set some meaningful goals and begin to make progress as I took action steps. I am more willing to make decisions instead of being paralyzed by fear. I gained more confidence and energy through sharing and feeling heard. I feel I can tackle things rather than allowing what was once overwhelming continue to drown me. I am recognizing how healing is starting to take place in my life.

"I originally sought out coaching to help me gain control over a situation I felt helpless to change on my own - my health and weight.  I had allowed my health to decline during a period of extreme stress, and was tired of living in fear and with an un-healthy mindset.  I knew I needed help, but with the busyness of daily living it took me a while to take action.  I also struggled with worry and anxiety, which incapacitated me from doing things I enjoyed and from living out the gifts God has given me.

When I retired from a stressful job, I knew ‘enough was enough’. It was time to take action and that’s when I reached out to Jen. I wanted clarity to help me re-group and make good use of my time and I also wanted assistance with weight loss and my health.

I enjoyed the weekly sessions, which felt like I was meeting with a good friend. “Good” as in one who wasn't afraid to tell me the truth in love. “Friend” as I felt like Jen was for me from the beginning. I felt validated, yet challenged. I gained a new understanding into how I functioned as a person, and was encouraged to apply that information to grow.

As a result of coaching, I am making choices in my thinking, which results in actions in to LIVE my life, not just exist. I am expanding my comfort zone. Instead of allowing the fear of “what if?” and anxiety control me, I am going forward even when I feel hesitant. I have committed to getting healthy and have successfully stuck to my health goals (which Jen helped me develop). I am making healthy choices with food, exercise, and self-talk. I have taken control of my health. Not only have I consistently lost weight over the past 6 months, I've dropped a size in clothes and feel my movement increase!

I think coaching gives you the tools to live your life instead of settling for mere existence. It helps to reveal roadblocks and provides the tools to overcome those hindrances. It has a positive effect on your outlook on life and gives you power to choose behaviors which lead to a greater fulfillment. Life coaching is an investment in yourself that I absolutely recommend!"

"The primary challenge I wanted to address through coaching was my overwhelming fear. Fear of failure, fear of not being respected or considered intelligent, and fear of undesirable outcomes - regardless of the situation. These fears held me back from realizing  the possibilities of my potential and experiencing life to the fullest.
