I teach voice for all levels, ages, and styles of music. My teaching focus is on solid vocal technique and learning to master the instrument of the voice applied to the genre(s) of music that you enjoy singing. My teaching style is encouraging and positive, so we have fun at each lesson!
As a Vocal Coach, I am committed to making a positive difference through excellence and teaching in an environment that is positive, supportive, encouraging and respectful to the voice, the person and the spirit. I believe that with proper coaching, just about anyone can improve their singing voice. Perhaps you were born with a natural talent that requires nurturing and training to develop fully. Or perhaps you just like to sing, but tend to only do so when you're alone because you feel self-conscious. One of the things I love most about coaching is the relationship I build with you, the student and watching your confidence grow as you blossom vocally and express the music inside!
Teaching In Harmony With The Whole Person
As a vocalist, musician, and vocal coach, I understand that the voice is the only instrument that is part of the body, not an extension of it. As such, I teach in harmony with the voice of each student. My objective is to draw out the best in each person and provide the tools for a solid vocal foundation, which empowers singers to express the music within. Whether a student has natural vocal talent or is someone who simply loves to sing, there is a beauty and freedom in the voice when it is supported by solid vocal technique. I believe the process of learning is best incorporated when we are having fun, feel accepted as we are, and are gently encouraged to grow. I also believe that the arts enhance and enrich our lives in countless ways. It is my experience that when we are in harmony with our artistic nature, our creativity inspires growth and a richer life.
